Dr. Sultan Hossein Fattahi was born in 1957 in the village of Keslan, Miyana. He was the second child in his family. At the age of four, he lost his father, and his uncle took on the responsibility of raising him and his brother.
His uncle was a military officer and, due to his assignments, moved to Qaemshahr. Hossein Fattahi completed his first grade in Na'in and his second grade in Maragheh. After that, he continued his education in Miyana until the age of 12.
At the age of 12, he took the entrance exam for the Laboratory Factory's technical school, where he started working and studying simultaneously.
Hossein Fattahi's biography in his own words:
Hossein Fattahi says: "Due to my strong interest in reading magazines and newspapers, I suddenly saw an announcement for accepting students at the Laboratory Factory’s technical school. After taking the exam and ranking third in 1969, I succeeded in entering the Laboratory Company. I worked at the factory from morning until noon, and in the afternoons, I attended classes."
After completing his schooling, Hossein Fattahi worked at the Laboratory Factory, but later moved to the Electrolux factory. He felt that there was little left to learn at the Laboratory Factory and began looking for job ads in newspapers to find a position as a home appliance designer to test his skills.
